To register as an owner, hold the lock comfortably in one hand. Place the tip of the finger you would like to register on the sensor without moving it from it’s position for 9 seconds. Don’t worry if the shackle opens at your touch, this happens because no fingerprint has been registered yet. When the blue LED light blinks 3 times, lift your finger and you’ll see a violet light which is an indication to tap and lift your finger 6 times on the sensor to map your fingerprint. Each time you tap the sensor, the blue LED light blinks letting you know that it's saving your fingerprint. If not, it will blink red, in which case, try registering again. Now that you're done, If the Blue LED light blinks 3 times, you're officially the owner of your Pro or Mini. If it blinks Red 3 times, the fingerprint wasn’t saved, in which case, please try registering again.

By default, your new Pro and Mini can be opened by just about anyone. To make it yours, you'd have to register your fingerprint. The first two fingerprints are considered owners. Which means, either you alone or you and someone you trust can be co-owners. If you’re one of the two owners of your Pro and Mini, only you can add guests or delete fingerprints.

To register a guest fingerprint, hold the lock comfortably in one hand. Place the tip of any finger on the sensor without moving it from it’s position for 9 seconds. When the blue LED light blinks 3 times, , lift your finger away and upon seeing the violet LED light, one of the two owner's registered fingerprints are to be placed once on the sensor for authorization. Now that the owner has authorized registry of a new guest to their lock, the guest can, within 3 seconds of authorization, tap and lift their finger 6 times on the sensor. Each time the sensor is tapped, the blue LED light blinks letting you know that it's saving your fingerprint. If not, it will blink red, in which case, try registering again. Now that you're done, If the Blue LED light blinks 3 times, you're officially the co-owner of your Pro or Mini. If it blinks Red 3 times, the fingerprint wasn’t saved, in which case, please try registering again.

You can only perform this action if you're the owner of your fingerprint lock. To delete fingerprints and factory reset your Pro or Mini, Place the tip of any finger on the sensor without moving it from it’s position for 20 seconds. Ignore if the shackle opens or if the the Blue light blinks 3 times while you’re holding on to the sensor. After having placed your finger on the sensor for 20 seconds, you will see that the Red LED light blinks 3 times after which one of the owner's registered fingerprints are to be tapped two times for authorization, which is confirmed by a violet LED light. You'll know that your smart lock was factory reset when the LED light blinks red and blue alternatively

To recharge the battery, you can connect the provided USB cable to the port located at the underside of your lock and to a power source which could even be your laptop, or a mobile charger. While charging, the LED indicator blinks blue until it is fully charged which could take about 2 hours. You'll know it's done charging when the LED indicator stops blinking and stays blue at which point you can unplug the cable.

Latch Pro and Latch Mini takes about 2 hours to fully charge.

When the battery is low, the LED indicator blinks red and blue alternatively when the lock is in an idle state.
